About Navel
Navel Magazine is a belly dancing and ethnic arts magazine that provides passionate and creative coverage of the belly dance community. It is our purpose to offer a forum where all styles of belly dancing, ethnic and ethnic inspired arts, as well as any other art styles that influence belly dance, can find a way to express and educate others in a tolerant, respectful and safe environment.
As a belly dance community magazine founded in September 5, 2007, Navel supports aspiring journalists, artists, and general public by offering them the opportunity to exercise, contribute, and develop their skills, and welcomes new talent that wants to contribute to Navel's publication.

Our Sections
EDITORIAL
Directly from the Editor-In-Chief's desk (literally her computer), this section provides Navel's “two cents” for the month. Sometimes with witty humor, sometimes in deep reflection and seriousness, we talk about thoughtful topics that sometimes we might not want to talk about, but we should.
FRONT PAGE
Our very own main cover. In this section, we present artists that represent Navel's theme of the month. We talk with them, so our community has a better opportunity to know details about them and their hard work.
BELLYWORLD
Everything belly dance! An anecdote, reviews, shows … Whatever is going on, wherever it is, we will be there (or at least we will try).
BUSINESS
In this section we give emphasis to belly dance as a serious business: how to plan a festival, do it yourself plans, resources, and so forth.
MUSIC
What's a belly dancer without it? We present you with the latest news about music, musicians, and more. Prepare to amaze yourself!
Fashion
Makeup, hairstyle, and what to wear (or not).
FITNESS
Yoga, pregnancy, menopause. Any topic related to health and fitness will be discussed in this section, in order to give the best performance on stage in a safety, healthy way.
MOVE OF THE MONTH
From basic posture to the “Anaconda Walk”, experienced dancers share their knowledge detailing their favorite steps and combos!
